Vanessa and Theron first connected when they were living in different continents! They are now united in the same country and were married on August 24th, 2019. Christian Mingle is so pleased to have played a role in their love story and wishes them every joy for their future together.
What can you tell us about the wedding?
“God is Beautiful… we prayed and prayed it wouldn’t rain and the day was blessed with sunshine. In God we Trust and we will follow to the ends of the Earth.
It was romantic and my heart was racing as I glanced at my bride walking towards me. We got married under this tree that was full of life as the rays of the sun touched us; we began our Vows. My heart stop knowing this was the best day of our lives. Journey that just began.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We met through Christian Mingle in May 2017. My wife was currently living in Germany but she is Brazilian. At the time I was living in Minnesota. We waited many months to meet face to face, on October 23rd 2017 I flew into Manchester England to meet the girl of my Dreams. I prayed the whole time on the flight there while watching the Northern Lights dance. It was truly a breath taken moment when we first laid eyes on each other for the first time face to face.
We did a double date with her sister and brother in law Pawel at a Brazilian restaurant. It was truly amazing to be around family and enjoying a moment together making new memories.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“The moment that shook the world. It was when we got to the airport in Manchester England and I had to walk through security. We all prayed in the airport giving our day and night to God.
As I walked away she began to cry and my heart ripped apart as if I was losing a piece of me. The feeling of emptiness and sadness was so overwhelming I was frozen. I knew we were in love and this was not any love but true love.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“I have learned through the times… that anything is possible through God… not only does love cover the world but it’s as strong as wide as deepest part of the ocean. It can fly through the stars and climb any mountain… put your trust in God and follow His footsteps. Believing that Love has no boundaries.
True love comes in all different shapes and sizes but never give up. We started our relationship and she was living in Germany and I was living in the USA. Then she had to travel to Brazil to work on our visa… this blessing has been in God’s hands the whole time. Amen.”
