My wife and I met on Christian Mingle in the summer of 2013, and married in May of 2014. We were from the same hometown, but had never met. We instantly hit it off, and we have been together ever since.
We both came from parents who took us to church and raised us to trust the Lord. We both would have searched for years, or maybe forever, without finding each other had it not been for Christian Mingle and the Lord using it to bring us together.
When I first joined I didn’t give much hope to finding a woman who would even talk with me, since I have six children of my own. But, in our case, it seemed to work in my favor that I had a big family. Tammy has two sons of her own who have been great big brothers to my children. My children quickly took to Tammy and loved her from the start. I think she kind of liked them too.
We spent a lot of nights on IM, emailing, and talking on the phone. We spent a lot of time driving between our two towns during the year that we dated. We are both convinced that the Lord brought us together and used Christian Mingle to do it!
And to think, it all started with a “Smile!”
