First off, my name is Ryan and I am a pastor of a church in Oklahoma. I am 32 years old and have never been married. After I joined officially, I opened the message and all it said was “Thanks for the smile.” I thought to myself, “Oh great, I paid the fee and all I got was thanks.” I laughed. Then I decided to send her a lengthy response in hopes to spark a conversation! Well, one day passed and no response from her. Two days, no response. I was really sad thinking that I had paid for absolutely nothing.
On the third day, I woke up on Sunday before church and checked my account. Low and behold, Stephanie happened to be online, so I sent her an instant message. She responded to me, we talked for about 30 minutes, and I gave her my phone number. She said she would text me after church and work. She did and we met the next day!
That was February 27, 2012 and the rest is all to God! We are now set to marry at my church on March 9, 2013 and we are expecting about 400 people from about 6 different states. We are so thankful for Christian Mingle. It’s just a huge blessing and we would recommend it to anyone.
