On May 29, 2013, I received a message from Shari in Canada. My first thought was, “Canada?” This was not in my radius of travel, but as you will see, God is willing.
He made me realize that love knows no boundaries. At the time, there was not a profile picture of her, but her profile itself took my breath away.
Our faith, our love for God, both being single parents while managing our professional careers, and our interests paralleled each other as if God orchestrated this connection.
Christian Mingle provided an amazing platform for us to find each other. After several conversations over the phone and Skype, I traveled to Canada on July 4, 2013. Our first date was simply perfect; hikes along the river, dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House and just talking through the night.
I knew when I left Canada that I had met the love of my life.
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Our story was a progression of traveling back and forth for two years from the United States and Canada, all the while developing memories for us and our two boys.
We knew that God brought us together and that our love for one another was a gift. Our story is unique because both my wife and I are doctors and are established in our careers, and our children are still in elementary school.
We are blessed to be able to travel and see each regularly, 
and now we have two residences, one in Canada and another in Oregon. Our journey continues each and every day, but without Christian Mingle, we would have never found each other.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
