What can you tell us about the wedding?
“Rachel and I got engaged after dating for seven months, and we were married in September. Our ceremony was in the garden at the Rosewood Wedding Chapel in Tennessee, attended by family and friends.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“After talking for several weeks, first on Christian Mingle and then via texting, we had our first date at Valleyfair in Shakopee, MN. We rode a roller coaster, explored the Halloween-themed park, and later ate at a restaurant. We both enjoyed meeting each other and desired to continue talking.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“For Matthew, it was over Christmas vacation that he saw Rachel in a way that made him realize he wanted to marry her. For Rachel, it was when she had to renew her rental lease. She knew that the relationship was blossoming into a commitment.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Allow God to lead you to a suitable match. Have patience, especially when things seem bleak. Stick to what you’re looking for in a spouse. Get to know them before meeting in person; don’t stick to only small talk. Seek God’s wisdom as you move forward with a potential match.”
