I initially reached out and sent Nikki a smile. Nikki quickly sent me a smile back and we started chatting on Christian Mingle. It was a Wednesday, May 17, 2010, and we were planning to go on our first date that following Sunday.
Nikki sent me a text on Wednesday and asked, “Why can’t today be Sunday?” I told her it could. We went directly to Disneyland, because we realized that we both had Disneyland passes. The most epic part of the whole date was when we held hands for the first time. There were sparks and it truly felt like magic.

Being in the music ministry at my church, I knew that I wanted a wife with integrity and who would also be a helpmate. Nikki was tired of dating guys who claimed to be Christians, but did not really have a firm foundation in the Lord. For us, having that foundational relationship with Christ was the most important quality we were looking for in a potential mate.
Even though our hometowns are only a few miles apart, I would have never met the woman of my dreams without Christian Mingle. Because of this site, my life has truly changed.
