Michelle and Jason met in Applebee’s for their first date and clicked straight away; two years later, in 2014, they got married! They have been together for 9 years and are still totally in love. What can you tell us about the wedding?
“We got married June 8, 2014 at Graceway Baptist Church, in Springfield, MO, and we couldn’t be any happier!”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We met on Christian Mingle. We had chatted online through Christian Mingle for about 3-4 weeks before our first face-to-face date, which was at Applebee’s. We hit it off, and two years later we were married! It’s been nine years since that first date, and we couldn’t be any happier.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“We really clicked right from the start. I looked her up on Facebook and I was really impressed with how selfless her posts seemed. They were all about others, and especially about caring for a friend of hers, who was sick with cancer. I could tell right away that she was a compassionate person and I really began to fall for her almost immediately.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“I had almost given up on finding someone I could trust and love. I had tried secular dating sites, and was continually frustrated by the character of women I was meeting. I decided to change tactics and try Christian Mingle, and I immediately met my wife. It sounds corny, but it reminds me of Jesus telling the soon-to-be disciples to cast the net off the opposite side of the boat. The leap of faith immediately paid off, and here we are nine years later, completely in love.”
