Karla and Kaleb’s story started with a simple text from Kaleb to his future wife. After wonderful first date, they continued to build a relationship and on the New Year’s Eve of last year, they knew that their life will change forever. They married on 1st June, 2019 and Christian Mingle is pleased to have played a role in their story and wishes them every joy for their future together.
How did you meet? What was your first date like? Tell us all the details!
I met Kaleb through the app Christian Mingle. I came to America in a inter exchange program called “Au pair”. I came here to work for an American family to take care of their kids . One day, one of my friends told me to make a profile on the Christian Mingle, but I was not so excited to do that. Anyways, I made it in November of 2017 and then I think in the end of the month, my today husband Kaleb sent me a text . He was really polite and cute.
Our first date was in the Japanese tea garden in San Francisco, California. At the time I was living in SF and it was amazing. We spent like 7 hours talking about life, dreams and also God. Kaleb said from day one, he knew that I will be significant in his life. After that we had another date on New Year’s Eve at the pier 39 and it was there that my life for sure changed ! 🙂
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Surely, it was on our second date on New Year’s Eve, when I hold his hands and he gave me our first kiss. Everything changed from that day. Kaleb took care of me with so much love and kindness. I felt safe and at home with him.
