How did you meet? What was your first date like? Tell us all the details!
After he had messaged me a few times, we talked on the phone. He drove over 2 hours to meet me for our first date.
We spent the entire day and evening talking. We didn’t want the day to end.
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
A few months into the long distance relationship, we knew that we didn’t want to see anyone else.
He moved to another city, and we continued a 4 hour commute every few weekends to see one another.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
Be in prayer about who you open your heart up to. What you have envisioned as your “perfect match” may not be who God has planned for you. We were not each other’s “type”, but 12 years of marriage and 3 children later, we are so thankful that God opened our eyes to see beyond our “type” and find what his perfect plan held for our lives.
