Jenny and Jason first met over 8 years ago! They were married on October 28th, 2012. Christian Mingle is so pleased to have played a role in their love story and wishes them every continued joy for their future together.
What can you tell us about the wedding?
“My amazzzzing church family helped us put a WORSHIP service together, took the burdens of 90% of the wedding costs, my worship team led us (AFTER they led THREE morning services that day!) and I played my violin during one of the worship moments with my team!”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We finally met IN PERSON in Charlotte, NC. We were both a bit nervous… we did not do anything “correct” lol. Thankfully, he was even cuter in person and I believe he thought the same about me :)”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“After MUCH ups and downs and long distance challenges, GOD never gave up on us. Jason had an AHA! moment on his flight back after our “final” meeting where God spoke into his heart, reassuring him that I was the one for him. The rest is… His-story!”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“I actually joined Mingle to PROVE to people it would not really work… the Lord has a great sense of humor 🙂 I would say do NOT dismiss the POWER of HIS GRACE even through an “online dating” scenario. PRAY. PRAY. PRAY. And be bold enough to say YES to His promptings!”
