Fay and I met in person on August 9, 2012 after first connecting on Christian Mingle. On our first date, we talked for about 90 minutes and decided we would like to meet again.
After a couple of weeks, we met up again. This time, we sat and talked for hours about all that we have in common and realized that even our pets have the same names! The dog is Sophie and the cat is also Sophie! We also both share the same Christian beliefs and family values and prior to meeting had been in the same place at the same time many times before!
We had actually been members of the same church at one point but had never met. We owe it all to God and Christian Mingle for bringing us together.
As we grew spiritually in our relationship, we knew we were right for each other and that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. On December 7, Fay’s birthday, I proposed and she happily accepted to my great joy!
We are going to be married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2013.
