Donna and William celebrated their decade (yes decade!) of marriage by renewing their vows at the end of 2019. They were first married on January 1st, 2010. Christian Mingle is so pleased to have played a role in their love story and wishes them every continued joy for their future together.
What can you tell us about the wedding?
“We got married at the hospital chapel (adorable, cute, elegant) where I work and have been employed at for almost 24 years.”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“We met here on Christian Mingle. It was a Fatz Cafe Restaurant, In Lincolnton NC, we met for lunch and just talked.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Donna says:
“Riding on the back of a motorcycle with someone else I used to date and all I could think about was Bill…”
William says:
“I knew right away. She was coming out of a rough dating situation and it took her a little longer, but within a month :)”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
Donna says:
“There is someone out there for you, this website helps you find them, there are some that claim to be Christians but pray that God directs you to the one that was meant for you.”
William says:
“Be honest about who you are and what you’re looking for. Don’t compromise on either. Be honest on your dates and in your conversations. Any red flags then nix it. God will work it out and bring you to your mate when the time is right!”
