How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
I (Mike) had tried a couple of the other mainstream dating websites, and was frustrated with their matchmaking results. I had pretty much given up with this method of meeting that special someone, when Christian Mingle had a free weekend.

After signing up, one of the first communications was a “smile” from Donna, and a message that just simply said “Hi”. After about a month of emailing, we met for a bicycle ride along the Allegheny River on Memorial Day weekend 2012. Donna was a bit nervous; but I was struck by her beautiful eyes and pretty smile.
Riding along a scenic bike trail is a great way to have time to talk to each other, while having fun together. We even had a picnic with peanut butter sandwiches. It was very easy to be ourselves around each other, and we became instant friends.
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Our first dates were bicycle rides and on the third one we got caught in a sudden rain along a bike trail and had to take cover under a small tree with our bikes.
We began holding hands as our dating continued, and have never stopped.
As the rain got steadier, we crowded closer together under the tree. Our faces brushed and when Donna turned and looked at me, I kissed her. We began holding hands as our dating continued, and have never stopped.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
Don’t give up. Donna and I had both gotten to a point where we had decided to put it in God’s hands, but knew we had to take action too and decided to try Christian Mingle.
