Back in August of 2011, I met my now-fiancé, Dona Keim, here on Christian Mingle. Both of us were very skeptical of ever meeting someone on here, let alone someone that we could ever see marrying. One evening in August, I decided to expand my search to see who was online. Dona was on that night, so we began chatting on the website. We quickly moved to talking on the phone and Skype.
We both prayed and did devotions together prior to meeting, continuing to seek God and ask for His direction. We prayed and believed that when we met, we both would know if we were right for each other. We both felt that God provided us with a sense of inner peace throughout our first dates and knew right away that we were the one for each other.
A month later, we got engaged on our birthday, which we also share. I’ve met my best friend thanks to Christian Mingle! We got married December 7, 2012 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
