What can you tell us about the wedding?
“It was a super hot humid day, we had rented 13 fans for the small indoor reception area, but the wedding was to be outside. An intense, surprise storm rained on everything just minutes before the ceremony! We all crowded into a hot sticky area that was set up for the reception, a little (lotta) rain would not stop this wedding!
It reminded me of when we met, living in two different cities we had decided to meet half way after work one evening. But when we arrived the coffee shop was closing! We struggled to find a place to visit near the small town.
Finally finding a diner that was still open, we shared a piece of pie and lots of stories. Time flew by and we noticed that the diner was empty, the carpets were being vacuumed and we had probably overstayed our welcome!
Time had flown by, but we both had to drive back to our respective cities and work the next day.
We both had plans for the following weeks but couldn’t stop thinking about one another and had many more conversations by phone.
After being single 10 years I had no idea love could taste so sweet again! When God is in it… no storm can come between.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“It was like the filling of a jar with sweet cream during our courtship.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Listen to your heart, make sure God is at the head and don’t compromise your values/beliefs.”
