How did you meet? What was your first date like? Tell us all the details!
We met online in 2003, when Christian Mingle was christiansinglesdating.com. I was in Victoria, Vancouver, Canada and Nick was in Albury, NSW, Australia.
We’d talk for hours on the phone and sent each other emails and picture. My ex suddenly retired and I was given a lump sum so I flew to Australia on Sept. 29th, 2004
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
I stayed in his daughter’s room, and it didn’t take long to get serious about marriage. The magistrate gave us special dispensation because we were Christians and we were married Oct. 19th of 2004.
Our love has grown over the years.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
Follow your heart but get to know the person well. The more you can communicate, especially at a distance about anything and everything is a good sign. You can really get to know a person through communication.
