Amanda almost cancelled her second date with Dustin, but thankfully with some help from God she didn’t and now they are a married couple! They got married on November 11th, 2018. What can you tell us about the wedding?
“It was a small wedding on a farm with close friends and family. It was sweet and casual and beautiful. I couldn’t believe that I was marrying this amazing man!”
How did you meet? What was your first date like?
“Our first date was at a mall in Greensboro. We ate in the food court and walked through different stores. Then we went to a park and talked while watching the sunset.”
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
“Right before the second date, I was freaking out. My anxiety was through the roof! I was kneeling on my bedroom floor considering calling him and canceling when this strange and amazing peace came over me. Instantly I knew that this man was for me, he was mine, and that we would be together forever. I knew that God was telling me this and I told Dustin on the 2nd date that we would be married one day.”
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members, who are still looking for love?
“Have faith! I was 28 before I met the man I married and I was sure it would never happen. Don’t give up and trust that God has someone amazing for you.”
