How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
We chatted for a week on Christian Mingle. Then I asked him out for coffee; he countered my offer with dinner. We met at Hacienda for dinner on a Sunday evening (7/17/2016).
We talked for about two hours over dinner, and by the end of the night we set up our next date – only two days later for an after-work hike. We went on a few more dinner dates, and he took me to an outdoor concert at a funky local outdoors venue.
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
We were on a hike about 6 weeks after meeting. I loved spending time with him; we had the same values; he was smart and a bit dorky, which is endearing. In my gut, I knew he was “it”.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
Don’t just pray that you hope you find somebody. Pray FOR that other person, whoever he/she is, and that God would guide your relationship before ever meeting.
