Our prayers have been answered!
Wick and I joined Christian Mingle on the same day. I had been in a dead-end relationship for four years and was ready to meet a good guy. My friend insisted that I join Christian Mingle. I was not excited about online dating. As a matter of fact, she set up my profile while we were at lunch one day. Three weeks later and after checking out other profiles, I joined.
I smiled at Wick and he decided to join again. We both joined on December 29, 2013, and we talked the same night. I could tell soon after we started talking that he was a genuine, sincere guy. We had many conversations by phone and emailed each other too. We both got off the site as soon as we realized we had a special connection.
Our first date was on a sub-zero evening on January 6, 2014. He brought me flowers which I placed in my car (they were frozen by the time dinner was over). We had a connection right away, and we made plans for another date that weekend. It seemed as though we had known each other for years. We got engaged the end of February 2014 and our wedding date is May 31, 2014. We both know that God has brought us together. Our families see the love that we share, and they are excited about our future.
We both are so thankful for Christian Mingle, and I am glad my friend set me up!
