How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Taylor: She sent me a smile and I asked her out to pizza after church. Chloe was highly unconventional, not afraid to be herself, and that was delightful.
Chloe: Yeah I did! And during the date we both brought out our pasts, being honest and upfront. That was when I started to think we were a good fit.
Taylor: But I asked her to Pizza in the first place because she had a photo of her pet snail on her profile. I thought, “We’ll that’s different!! Alright I’ll give it a shot.” I’d had several other dates before her but they flopped. I’d nearly given up on this website really.
Chloe: And the best part was discovering he lived across the street from me! I’d lived in the area for two years and somehow never saw him.
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Chloe: To be fair, there was no BAM one true moment. It came gradually as we held hands and met each other’s families and attended church every Sunday…
Taylor: I agree. We fell into it naturally, our personalities synced perfectly. It truly was God directed.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
Taylor: Stick it out. No seriously, I kept it up for a year and a half with little results.
Chloe: Ladies, don’t be afraid to initiate a conversation ;D This website is a blessing. Taylor was the first Christian man I ever dated, my church was so small! I was the youngest female, everyone was already paired up. Branch out a little. God has given us not a spirit of fear but of sound mind!
