How did you meet? What was your first date like?
Marcus matched to me pretty quickly after signing up but it took me a couple of days to respond. Once I responded he was very persistent with responding, which I was not used to. We texted throughout the week and he was very intentional about meeting that week. By that Friday he picked me up at my house and took me out to dinner at the Melting Pot.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
On our first date I knew I was going to marry Marcus. Later, I found out that he also knew.
By the second time we saw each other he told me he never had any intentions of dating another girl.
Our third time seeing each other (which was less than a week after we met), I knew I loved him.
It was about 3 weeks into dating that Marcus told me he loved me but he was already aware through my hints and love eyes that I had already loved him.
What advice would you give other Christian Mingle members?
Before we even met each other we both had prayed about who we were in Christ. We both are already set in our careers and were confident in not changing it for another person. I went into our first date confident that God had called me to a certain ministry and I was okay if it took me a few years to find the man that God had also intended for that same ministry.
Even leading up to the date Marcus was very clear and transparent on who he was. We both had a healthy respect that we were searching for who God made us to be with. I believe this helped us to see more clearly on the date and to not enter into it with wrong intentions.
Marcus was the first guy I had met that I allowed God to truly guide me for the purpose of his glory.
We both prayed before we met, prayed on the first date, prayed after the first date, and we continue to pray. We prayed for discernment, open ears, and clear direction. Marcus was the first guy I had met that I allowed God to truly guide me for the purpose of his glory.
