Daniel sent the first message. Brandelyn responded and they exchanged a few emails during the next two months. In February 2013, the two decided to meet for the very first time for dinner. Their first date lasted over three hours. It consisted of many conversation topics and much laughter. Two weeks later they started texting and talking over the phone to learn more about each other. Then, they decided to meet for a second date. Daniel picked Brandelyn up from her apartment to go to a Mexican restaurant. It seemed as if they’d known each other for a long time. Everything came so naturally. On their second date, they shared their first kiss.
The two started attending church together at Bayside in Placer County, CA. That is when they knew they really had feelings for each other. Soon after, they decided to make their relationship official. Over the next two years, they came to know each other very well and grew in Christ together. On Christmas Eve, Daniel asked Brandelyn to marry him. She excitedly said “YES!” Now, on September 4, 2016, the two will be getting married!
