The Mission of the Journey Church is simple. As Christians, they believe that God has not left his creation or people alone; he has intimately involved with both from the beginning. Jesus came to earth on a mission to restore humanity to the "cosmos". As his followers, believers' roles are not to withdraw from the world around them, but to see in which ways they can improve it in everyday life. There is salvation in Jesus alone.
The Rock Church and World Outreach Center began in 1988 with 12 people. Pastors Jim and Deborah Cobrae had just started the church, and the Lord was already bringing in the broken-hearted, the sick and the maimed. He had given the pastors a promise from Isaiah 12:3 that with joy they would drink from the wells of salvation. In the years to come, thousands would walk the aisles of The Rock to give their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ and experience the healing power of God's love.
Founded in 1697, Trinity Church is a vibrant Episcopal parish, where daily worship services form the heart of our Christian identity. Trinity is a grant-making organization, streaming funds throughout the city and the world, as well as a resource for Lower Manhattan's commuters and tourists, who find inspirational music within its walls. Through its congregational staff and maintenance teams, it is a sacred oasis amid the busy downtown streets. It is an important player in the world of New York City commercial realty, and home to an award-winning preschool. It is the home to the committees, guilds, and task-forces of a congregation committed to bringing God's Kingdom to this world. Trinity also sponsors an annual national theological conference that gathers top thinkers to the church nave, and a series of related small group gatherings, meetings, and classes for Christian formation. Also part of the Trinity family is this award-winning website. Trinity is a center for many mentally-ill, and a home for the elderly and disabled. It is also the home of St. Paul's Chapel, the "little chapel that stood" after September 11, which now serves as a congregation for peace and reconciliation.

The United Church of Christ has 5600 churches worldwide. It was formed when two Protestant churches, the Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Congregational Christian Churches united in 1957. The Church is known for its emphasis on the autonomy of local churches. There is no hierarchy or authority that can impose doctrine or worship format on individual churches. The Church often uses four words to describe itself: "Christian, Reformed, Congregational and Evangelical". The motto of the United Church of Christ comes from John 17:21: "That they may all be one".

The United Methodist Church can trace its roots back to John and Charles Wesley and the Church of England during the Revival Movement. The religion itself was formed in 1968 by the union of the Methodist Church and the Evangelical united Brethren Church. The United Methodist Church places emphasis on Christian living and putting love and faith into action.
United Methodists hold to the historic doctrines of the Christian faith. They are evangelical, but moderates rather than fundamentalists. Methodists value the intellect and modern science, but also look to the Bible as the authoritative guide for faith and practice. Methodists have a passionate faith with strong convictions, but also recognize that the world is not always black and white. Methodists are willing to ask questions, wrestle with difficult issues and to do so with grace and compassion.
Unity describes itself as a practical, progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects an individual's right to choose their own spiritual path. Unity describes itself as having no particular creed, no set dogma, and no required ritual. Illness is considered to be curable by spiritual means, but traditional medical treatments are not rejected.

The Word of Faith employs the motto, "reaching the lost, and teaching the found." As an interdenominational church, they join with like-minded Christians in spreading the Gospel around the world. The goal is a church void of segregation because of race or nationality. They want unity not only nationally but worldwide as well.
