We were walking in total faith...

What started as a simple comment in the chat room turned into the beginning of the rest of my life. It was March 27, 2009... I had entered into a chat room where there wasn't very many people logged in. As I started to read, I noticed two guys debating. It looked a little intense, never the less I still took a stab at it. A
comment was placed that said "Life is about doing what you love", I replied" No, it's about doing what God loves". I was still chatting with friends for about 15 minutes when I saw briscoewd say something interesting to the comment I had said, so I IM'd him. We talked for 4 hours that night about everything . Then I realized it
was getting really late so I said "Can I add you to my friends list and have your
email address"? And of course he said "yes". He then asked for my phone number. I stopped and thought, ok he doesn't seem like a creepo and so I gave him my number; he called right away.
My heart was pounding. I was so nervous. I answered and decided to play it cool just to break the ice and we continued to talk for another hour. It was 2 in the morning. I went to sleep thanking God for my day. The next morning, besides the Lord, he was the very first thing on my mind. I thought it was a little odd
considering I had had other conversations on ChristianMingle. That morning he called and the rest is history. Three weeks later we were talking about getting married. The Lord had confirmed to us that we were suppose to be together. We were walking in total faith because he lived in CO and I lived in NV. After the
first week of talking on the phone, he booked a flight out here to meet me and my two little girls and the rest of the family. After six weeks of knowing each other, he finally arrived. I stood in the airport waiting for him in baggage
claim. Not knowing he had already spotted me from across the way, I turned and recognized him, but with not much time from that moment he grabbed my face and kissed me in front of everyone to see. I was mesmerized. Later that night he proposed after dinner and I said "YES!". Six weeks later we were married in a park on July 25,2009. Later that year we became pregnant with our new daughter who was born August 31, 2010. We named her Jaylah. William and I now combined our children of six when the "I think we are done" thought, but you never know what God might have planned. We have had an amazing year an half.
This site is real for anyone who is skeptical. Let no one tell you God can't use the internet. Thank you ChristianMingle for your ministry.
