Family Research Council (FRC) was founded in 1983 as an organization dedicated to the promotion of marriage and family and the sanctity of human life in national policy. FRC shapes public debate and formulates public policy that values human life and upholds the institutions of marriage and the family. Believing that God is the author of life, liberty, and the family, FRC promotes the Judeo-Christian worldview as the basis for a just, free, and stable society. Through books, pamphlets, media appearances, public events, debates and testimony, FRC's team of experienced policy experts review data and analyze proposals that impact family law and policy in Congress and the executive branch. FRC also strives to assure that the unique attributes of the family are recognized and respected through the decisions of the courts and regulatory bodies.

First African Methodist Episcopal Church in Los Angeles is the oldest church founded by African Americans in the City of Angels. In 1872, Ms. Biddy Mason received the vision from God to establish a church that would minister to the mind, body and soul of all who would join that small band of believers. That vision and small band of believers has grown to what is now a congregation of thousands of members and several dozen ministries within 13 corporations that bless and reach seekers in greater metropolitan Los Angeles.
The Church of God Reformation movement began in the late 1800s as an experiment in Christian unity. The First Church of God is one of over 2500 congregations who trace their roots to this "experiment" in Christian unity. Their vision, in their own words is, "Simple. We want to build bridges that transform lives." These are bridges to Christ, each other and the world.
