Holy Family focuses on the "welcoming" aspect of Jesus' example. All people, of other religions and life orientations, are respected and accepted. Holy Family is a Eucharistic community. The heart of Holy Family's life is the Eucharist. Holy Family connects faith with life. Holy Family strives to make their faith a living reality in the everyday life of their parishioners. This means reflecting Gospel values in all facets of life: personal, familial, social, and civic. No part of followers' lives should remain untouched by Christ's message.

According to Grace Fellowship themselves, their mission is to glorify God by continually striving to present every person complete in Christ through introducing people to Jesus, growing toward Christian maturity, developing as ministers and mobilizing for local and world missions. They believe that the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired, and infallible. God exists eternally in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as one. Man is created in the likeness of God, apart from any evolutionary process. Grace Fellowship believes that it is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling Spirit, as evidenced by the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Grace Community Church was founded by Dr. Don Householder in 1956. It puts an emphasis on the basics of Christianity. Grace Bible Church's is a church and university. Their mission is, "Raising up next generation leaders to reach our world for Christ." On the topic of their goals, they say, "If our ultimate goal is that people would worship God everywhere in the world, then the greatest contribution our church can make is through unifying strong family and university ministries around the common goal of raising up a surplus of godly college age servant-leaders who can impact our city, nation, and world for Christ. We firmly believe that students are the future leaders of business, government, religion, science, education and most importantly they will lead in the arena of ideas...Yet we also firmly believe that our ability to raise up a surplus of college leaders will never exceed the strength of our family ministry. Mature families are the foundation of our church. Ministries to families and college students are not competitive but complementary; they are synergistic ministries."
